Role Overview: As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Pyxi, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing the technology vision that will drive our mission of fostering genuine human connections. You will lead the development and execution of the technology strategy, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, scalable, and user-centric platform. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a deep understanding of mobile and web technologies, a passion for social innovation, and a proven track record in leading tech teams. Key Responsibilities: Technology Vision and Strategy: Develop and implement Pyxi's technology roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and user needs. Stay ahead of technological trends and advancements, ensuring Pyxi leverages cutting-edge technologies to enhance user experiences. Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of developers, engineers, and IT professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the tech team. Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Pyxi’s mobile and web applications. Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and performs optimally across various devices and operating systems. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to align technology initiatives with overall business goals. Communicate technical concepts and project status effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Quality Assurance and User Experience: Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment to ensure a seamless user experience. Continuously gather user feedback to drive improvements and innovations in the platform. Security and Compliance: Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards and best practices in data security and privacy. Develop and implement policies and procedures to protect user data and maintain platform integrity. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external technology vendors, partners, and consultants. Negotiate contracts and ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables. Qualifications: * Strong background in mobile application development and web technologies. * Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, AI, and machine learning is a plus. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a user-centric approach. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
