Company description: Are you an experienced ML engineer who wants to work together with a business Co-Founder to develop a product with the purpose to improve sports performance and general health? The company is currently still in stealth mode hence details of the business case will be shared upon application. However, the company has already achieved some key milestones: • Detailed pitch deck, including financials, competition, medical and sports physiological analysis completed • First collaborations with very renown research institutes established • Tech- feasibility study under real life conditions with ~10 participants successfully concluded • Support of senior advisors with years of experience both in research at a world-leading institution and in implementation secured • First contacts to seed investors lead to very positive feedback This position is a unique opportunity to enter a promising Startup as a Co-Founder with a very substantial share package and the opportunity to bring a “world’s first” technology to the market. Responsibilities: As CTO, you will work closely with the CEO to build a fast-growing AI-based digital health start-up. Your work will play a very important role to achieve goals that drive the growth of our business. You will be responsible for the entire tech-scape of the company and develop best-in-class tech stacks and high-quality code. Furthermore, you will: • Build a team of sound-AI and mobile application developers and engineers • Develop the “New to the world” product that has very healthy potential for an acquisition • Orchestrate and constantly improve the software delivery process • Stay on top of technology trends and developments and ensure the tech teams adapt accordingly • Develop technology strategy that supports the growth of the business Management and Leadership • Co-develop business plan, co-establish research partnerships & work closely with your co-founder (namely, be a sparing-partner for your Co-founder) • Be a role model and actively shape the company culture • Represent the company externally both in fundraising and at events/competitions What you must bring: - Leadership and organizational interests and abilities - Background in computer science, computer engineering, data science or related field - Experienced ML Engineer with profound experience with deep learning and advanced machine learning approaches (e.g., Transformer architecture) - Expert in Python (programming language) and OOP - Experience in audio signal processing and deploying ML models on edge devices is a big plus - Experience in mobile application and SDK development is a plus - Good understanding of technologies such as database, AWS/Azure/GCP, and Docker - Passion in digital solutions for sports and healthcare space - Very strong self-learner and solution-driven - Full-time commitment and high degree of motivation
