Cerrion, a young Zurich-based stealth technology startup, is leveraging deep learning to solve the industry's transparency problem. To support us with robustifying our technological stack and developing on-premise solutions, we are looking for your help. We are hiring a head of infrastructure. Responsibilities: - Working on all infrastructure-related issues: cloud infrastructure management, cloud optimization, monitoring of on-prem and cloud devices, CI/CD, etc. - Developing hardware: edge processing units, cameras, hardware user feedback mechanisms, wearables, etc. - Being a part of the system architecture development. Identifying potential issues with the IT design early on. - Talking to the customers (in German and/or English) about the infrastructure setup, troubleshooting with them if something goes wrong. - In the future, working on scaling the system and distributing between different cloud providers. Requirements: - Good Linux knowledge - Experience of working with all 3 major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) - Experience in assembling hardware - Experience in purchasing and choosing the right hardware components - Willingness to explore new hardware solutions - Solid Docker knowledge - Experience with CI/CD - Solid git knowledge - Solid scripting knowledge (bash, Python) - Good knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB) - Good English and German skills - Willingness to go for short business trips to the facilities where our solution is installed Why Cerrion: Cerrion is a stealth technology startup which uses Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence to bring data-driven insights to the factory floor.
