You are motivated to try new things and want to contribute to the development of plant-based ingredients and thus to ethical and climate-friendly food. After a short training period you will be able to actively support the team, get in contact with partners / customers and independently plan and execute pilot production, product tests and experiments. You will actively contribute to product and application development and work together with our CTO. MAIN TASKS Collaboration in the scale-up process and pilot production Coordination with contract processors and collaboration in the supply chain Quality assurance / optimization of analysis methods Optimization of process parameters to improve functional product properties Collaboration in the development of IP relevant unique selling propositions Evaluation of possible ingredients / components Development and testing of recipes together with customers Help in food production especially in the area of bakery products (approx. 1-2 days per week) GHP / HACCP / Shelf life test YOUR PROFILE Pleasure in the development of food of the future Interest in sustainability / ecology / circular economy MSc or BSc. in food science, food technology or related studies Good communication skills Proactive, strong implementation and solution-oriented personality Motivated, "can-do" attitude Enjoys working independently and as part of a team Good analytical and conceptual skills Accuracy / ability to document processes cleanly BENEFITS Steep learning curve with responsibility from day one Varied work The opportunity to make a difference in the development of plant-based products You are an important part of a young and enthusiastic team Flexible working hours, incl. 10 remote working days Half-tax free for 1 year (if no subscription available and internship at least 6 months) CHF 1700.- in the first 6 months per month (gross), afterwards CHF 2100.- Office directly at Illnau train station Who we are A team of project initiators with experience in startup, industry and research (ETH Zurich, ZHAW) who are burning for new plant-based solutions in the food industry.
