In order to scale our solution and develop our technological stack to be more efficient and robust, we are looking for your help. We are hiring a Lead Backend Engineer. Responsibilities: - Work together with the technical team on system architecture development. Identifying potential issues with the IT design early on. Leading the development of projects that analyze real-time video streams with Tensorflow or PyTorch - Working on infrastructure: cloud infrastructure management, cloud optimization, monitoring of on-prem and cloud devices, CI/CD, etc. Working with hardware: edge processing units, cameras, mobile connectivity etc. - Talking to the customers (in German and/or English) about the infrastructure setup, troubleshooting with them if something goes wrong. - Managing internal projects Requirements: - Previous track record of building technical architectures - Proficient in Python development, at least 3 years of experience with object oriented programming - Versed with the docker deployment workflow - Being used to setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - Experience with basic DevOps in a Linux environment - Good knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB) - Experience of working with GCP and other major cloud providers - Good Linux knowledge - Solid scripting knowledge (bash, Python) - Fluent in English - Highly detail oriented - Good communication skills A plus: - Previous work experience in Computer Vision and confident with working with Tensorflow and/or PyTorch - Previous experience with real-time video streaming and ffmpeg - Interest in managing people - Experience in JavaScript/Typescript development and CSS. - Willingness to go for short business trips.
