Position Overview: To accomplish our goals, we are looking for a dedicated Machine Learning Researcher/Engineer who either brings knowledge in cybersecurity or possesses enthusiasm for acquiring expertise in this area. Key Responsibilities: Initiate and lead ML research projects within the cybersecurity domain, driving innovation from conception to implementation. Develop predictive models and algorithms to identify and neutralize sophisticated cyber threats. Validate and refine ML techniques through rigorous testing to ensure reliability and robustness. Keep abreast of cutting-edge research and technologies that can give our startup a competitive edge. Collaborate with the founding team to align ML research with strategic business goals. Author and disseminate research findings through internal reports, patent filings, and external publications. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Math, or a related field with a significant Machine Learning component. Demonstrable ML research experience, preferably highlighted by a Master’s thesis or similar scholarly work. Proficient in programming with C/C++, Python or similar languages, and experienced with ML libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Preferred Qualifications: Previous industry experience in ML development and application. Exposure to or keen interest in cybersecurity challenges and solutions. A track record of published research in ML, cybersecurity, or related fields. Strong communicative prowess to convey complex concepts and a collaborative spirit.
