Product Design Intern – Bollwerk AI (Zurich, Remote Europe) Bollwerk is building the AI-powered risk engine for the world’s leading financial institutions – built on a dedication to privacy & commitment to transparency in financial markets. Role Help design core workflows and data-heavy interfaces used by risk, compliance, trading and operations teams. We build heavily on shadcn/ui + Untitled UI. Design used to be built primarily in Figma, but we’ve started using v0 other tools in the process. What you’ll do • Own designs from start to finish for impactful features that ship quickly • Map user journeys (analysts, investigators, CROs) and simplify complex flows. • Design dashboards and review experiences (e.g., AML alert triage, VaR/stress, liquidity early warnings). • Create Figma wireframes → interactive prototypes; contribute to a lean design system. • Run quick usability tests; iterate with the CEO/CTO and engineering to ship quickly. What you bring • A portfolio showing thoughtful UX for complex or data-dense products. • Good Figma skills; comfort with tables, states, and information hierarchy. • Basics of UX writing and accessibility; familiarity with component libraries. Details • Commitment: 30%-80% (part-time), flexible scheduling, remote-friendly. • Must be Europe based. • Compensation: paid internship (range USD 15-25) + equity.
