Start: February or when possible, permanent position We are seeking a driven and innovative Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer to join our engineering team in Zurich, dedicated to the product development of next-generation axial flux motors for electric vehicles. This position is ideal for someone passionate about sustainable transportation and eager to contribute to the advancement of electric motor technology. As an integral member of our team, you will be involved in the entire development process of our specialized axial flux motors, from initial design to prototyping, testing, production, and validation on our customers’ vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Engage in the mechanical design, simulation, and optimization of our axial flux motors. Prototyping: Collaborate in generating key ideas and then building and testing prototypes. Collaboration: Work closely with our team, including software developers and simulation experts. About You: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or a related field. Proficient in CAD software and familiar with simulation tools (preferably Fusion 360). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Passionate about innovations in electric vehicle technology and sustainable transportation. Motivated and proactive in driving projects to completion. Preferred Skills: System design and design thinking skills. Strong foundation in electromechanical systems, especially in motor design and development. Experience in electric motor design, particularly axial flux motors.
