We are harnessing the latest global trends in retail media advertising, social commerce as well as click-and-collect to give local sellers the state-of-the-art digital tools they need to compete and thrive in the fast-paced world of e-commerce. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Shoplà engineering team. In this role you will be working in a cross-functional product team of engineers, product managers and designers focused on the consumer facing functionalities. The team is empowered to explore, design, build and deploy applications capable of handling a large amount of data and web traffic. You will be working with a state-of-the-art backend. Basic qualifications - Proficiency in programming, software design and code reviews. - 5+ years of experience writing code in a typed language (e.g. Scala/Java/C#, etc.). - Practical experience with a variety of databases and data processing frameworks (E.g. SQL/no-SQL DBs such as Elasticsearch, Postgres, Kafka, Spark, etc.) - Very good understanding of software architecture and development processes and tools (e.g. CI/CD, git, etc.) Practical experience of deploying scalable solutions to production on a public cloud (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure etc.) - Solid communication skills in English.
