The Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build Nimagna’s next-gen video processing and collaboration solution. The work is at the intersection of computer vision, video processing and AI. You will contribute to our technical innovation and develop ground-breaking real-time algorithms that go way beyond today’s solutions and that will change the way we collaborate remotely. While the company is based in Zurich, Switzerland, this role is available remote, on-site, or hybrid. What You’ll Do: • You will develop novel algorithms that power the future of collaboration – You love to solve problems that have not been solved before! • You will build a state-of-the-art real-time collaboration system – Your experience with writing high-performance, reliable and sustainable software is your personal mission! • You will implement, test and deliver new features within a cross-functional agile and distributed team – Focused, independent but collaborative work is what you crave for! • You will take responsibility and ownership in more than just development – You are not afraid to get your hands dirty! Your Skills & Abilities: • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with strong software engineering components. • Excellency in software development, combined with experience and a solid foundation in the required areas of software engineering. • Well-founded experience applying deep learning algorithms to solve problems in computer vision. What Will Set You Apart: • Proficiency in fundamentals of computer vision, computer graphics and video processing. • Hands-on experience with multiple deep learning frameworks (Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch). • Hands-on coding experience in multiple industry-standard programming languages. • Experience with web/app platform development and microservices architecture. • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS and/or GCP. • Strong interpersonal skills, entrepreneurially minded, flexible and very strong team player.
