The Role We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us build Nimagna’s next-gen video processing and collaboration solution. This job focuses on prototyping a browser and mobile solution for the user’s front-end and the server backend. You will contribute to our technical innovation and help building the face of what will change the way we collaborate remotely. While the company is based in Zurich, Switzerland, this role is available remote, on-site, or hybrid. What You’ll Do: • You will co-define and develop our architecture – That’s what you always wanted to do! • You will co-design and develop MVPs and will successfully deliver our service to the masses – And of course continue to develop our product afterwards! • You will implement, test and deliver new features within a cross-functional agile and distributed team – Focused, independent but collaborative work is what you crave for! • You will take responsibility and ownership in more than just development – You are not afraid to get your hands dirty! Your Skills & Abilities: • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with strong software engineering components. • Strong software programming skills with experience in web development and HTML/JavaScript. • Experience in one or more programming languages, including Java, C++, C#, Python. What Will Set You Apart: • Full-stack knowledge, with expertise in at least one layer. • Experience with iOS and/or Android development. • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS and/or GCP. • Experience with various web frameworks and platforms. • Software engineering experience: Modern software development practices and tools, distributed programming, database systems. • Strong interpersonal skills, entrepreneurially minded, flexible and very strong team player.
