AeroFusion – Sustainable Space Propulsion powered by Solar and Beamed Energy
🚀 AeroFusion – Revolutionizing SpaceTech via Beamed Energy & Solar Propulsion Project Status & Core Goals The conceptual framework, strategic roadmap, and branding for AeroFusion are fully established. As the founder and CVO, I am driving the business and strategic vision. We are now seeking an analytical, technical counterpart to bridge the gap between visionary intuition and deep physical execution. Our mission is to bypass the "tyranny of the rocket equation" by strictly separating launch energy from deep-space propulsion—making space access cleaner, cheaper, and entirely sustainable. Our 4-Stage Research & Development Plan: • Stage 1 (Months 1–6): Vacuum chamber material testing of advanced reflector surfaces. • Stage 2 (Months 7–12): Building a 100g carbon-fiber test drone for a vertical 500m launch, powered by a 30-kW ground laser system. • Stage 3 (Years 2–5): Scaling up to a 10-MW laser infrastructure to enable clean, commercial CubeSat launches into Low Earth Orbit (LEO). • Stage 4 (Years 5+): Integration of Solar Electric Propulsion (Argon plasma) for sustainable deep-space and interplanetary missions. Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for a Technical Co-Founder (CTO) or ambitious Master/PhD students in physics, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or material sciences (ideally from ETH Zürich, EPFL, or FHNW). Your Role: • Challenge and refine the theoretical physical framework. • Run initial numerical simulations (laser-plasma interaction, propulsion efficiency). • Anchor the project academically to co-apply for Swiss startup funding and grants (such as Venture Kick, Innosuisse, or foundation grants). What We Offer: A true "Moonshot" project with a massive environmental and commercial impact, full strategic groundwork already in place, and an equal co-founder partnership (equity-based upon incorporation). Let’s shape the future of Swiss SpaceTech together!
