Algrano is a Swiss tech startup setting new standards in the global coffee trade. We are on a journey to revolutionize a centuries-old trading model, making it transparent. Our purpose is to enable direct trade and empower coffee growers to become successful sellers. Through Algrano’s online platform, coffee growers promote and sell their coffees straight to roasters. In the last seven years, Algrano evolved from a small niche startup to an internationally recognised brand driven by strong values, a unique vision, and best-in-class execution and service. We represent the diversity of the coffee industry in our team. We are around 30 people from various industries, like software development, coffee, banking, trading, shipping, sustainability, and from more than 10 different countries. Awarded at its launch in 2015 and again in 2022 as the Best IT Product by the Specialty Coffee Association, Algrano counts more than 1’000 growers from 18 countries and roasters from 30 countries trading together.
