AI for manufacturing

Western factories, those not offshored to the East, run on generations of production equipment deployed over decades, from the post-war era to today. These machines are digitally siloed, with incompatible communication protocols, inconsistent data formats and vendor-locked interfaces preventing interoperability. While individual machines reach ~95% performance, plants operate at 70% OEE or lower, with production lines reliant on manual intervention, resulting in downtime, quality scrap, and speed losses. With modern hardware and advanced automation, China is now the world capital of Manufacturing; Europe instead risks permanent deindustrialization as it cannot compete on prices due to weaker supply chains, higher labour costs, and lower automation and efficiency. Forgis reshores manufacturing by optimizing production with industrial intelligence. Integrating with legacy machines, Forgis standardizes decades of production data into a unified semantic layer, enabling interconnectivity. Our Physical AI Foundation Model natively processes text, time series, and images (manuals, sensor readings and CAD/electrical schematics), fusing them into actionable insights. Our AI agents use these insights to control and streamline production in real time to minimize energy consumption, scraps and downtime, maximizing quality, throughput and efficiency. We raised the fastest pre-seed round in Europe ($5M), generating 5M+ organic views, 800+ automation engineers in our community, and 50+ media features. We’ve secured partnerships with IBM, Microsoft, and ETH AI Center, and we’re affiliated with ETH and HSG. We have contracts with Fortune 500 manufacturers, with seven-figure licensing potential.
