About REOR20 Natural disasters pose a threat of growing importance rendering risk understanding a key factor for enhancing resilience. At REOR20, we develop the next generation technology capable to deliver timely, at the highest possible accuracy flood hazard intelligence. REOR20’s technology combines high-fidelity computational engineering tools with innovative AI methodologies and constitutes a revolutionary paradigm change. We are now hiring our core engineering team to build the first commercial-scale version of our product and deploy it to our early users. As a member of this core team, you will be involved in multiple tasks and undertake diverse responsibilities (research and development, testing, data mining etc.). The Position REOR20 is looking for a skilled and motivated deep learning scientist/engineer who would be responsible for research and development on machine learning and physics-based approaches. The output of your work is going to be central in REOR20’s technology. Key Responsibilities ● Co-develop and maintain our core AI framework for disaster analysis ● Design architectures relevant to several analytics modules under development ● Optimize training procedures by employing novel algorithms or by efficient hardware utilization ● Maintain an awareness of the latest deep learning methods and be able to pair the correct methods to the problems we are solving You should apply if you have ● Academic or proven experience in computer science / engineering ● Experience applying and developing deep learning methodologies ● Proficiency in python and common python-based machine learning libraries like pytorch ● Ability to quickly prototype ideas, perform critical analysis, and use creative approaches for solving complex problems ● Strong motivation and a desire to work in an energetic and fast-paced environment ● Passion about digging into complex problems and devising new approaches to reach results Desired ● Knowledge or experience on spatiotemporal modeling ● Experience on large-scale parallel training Interested?
