VIRTUOSIS is an EPFL startup aiming to improve well-being and team collaboration at work using the power of machine learning. We analyze the voice to predict mood and communication skills. Duration and starting date are flexible. Possibility to work remotely. Your responsibilities • Conceptualize and build a large-scale data analytics web application • Design and implement an efficient and scalable backend, which is able to handle large amounts of data in Azure • Build a customer-facing plugin • Closely interact with our machine learning engineers Your profile • You have a track record in building web applications in fast-paced environments • You gained experience with deploying software on cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure • You have experience working with APIs • You know JavaScript or Typescript • You appreciate great user experience as much as awesome tech and software architecture • You have good knowledge of development best-practices like testing, source control (Git) and agile planning • You are naturally curious and willing to learn to continuously improve your skills • Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on mentality and passion to solve big challenges in a simple way • Fluency in English or French Bonus points • Working experience in startup environment • Experience with machine learning • Expert knowledge in data processing and database design Company Culture & Benefits • Virtuosis aim to improve well-being and team collaboration at work using the power of machine learning. • Our team is diverse made up of entrepreneurs and engineers from various nationalities. • Although we’re based in Lausanne, Switzerland’s and have office space at the EPFL Innovation Park, you are free to work wherever you please.
