About
I hold an MBBS, MD, PhD from Central South University, Xiangya School of Medicine, and an MS in Global Health from Georgetown University, with expertise spanning clinical medicine, global health research, and healthcare innovation. My background includes clinical practice, radiology, and quality improvement in LMIC hospital settings, as well as research in nanotechnology for targeted cancer therapy and forensic imaging for age and sex identification. At the World Health Organization, I contributed to non-communicable disease management across 21 Pacific Island Countries, conducting WHO-PEN audits, healthcare facility evaluations, and policy development in collaboration with Ministries of Health. Currently, I serve as a Clinical Research Manager at Skope, where I lead clinical research initiatives on infection prevention and medical device disinfection to address healthcare-associated infections. My work involves conducting clinical studies, training clinicians, and analyzing market opportunities in the Asia-Pacific and India regions to drive evidence-based healthcare innovations. Additionally, I am volunteering at the Johns Hopkins Center for Emergency Care, supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing emergency healthcare systems and access to life-saving interventions for underserved populations. I am also deeply interested in disruptive technologies in healthcare, particularly in how emerging innovations can transform patient care, health systems, and global health outcomes. By integrating my clinical expertise with global health strategies and cutting-edge healthcare technologies, I aim to advance public health interventions, health systems strengthening, and medical technology adoption on a global scale. Thanks!
