Scientist with PhD and postdoctoral research experience in infection biology and host–pathogen interactions. My work focuses on robust and conserved mechanisms with relevance beyond a single model system and has involved collaborations with scientists across biology, biochemistry and chemistry. Alongside my academic work, I have deliberately expanded my training in clinical trials, regulatory affairs, GCP, and GMP, as I became increasingly interested in how scientific research can be translated into drug development. I am now looking to apply my scientific background, analytical mindset, and communication skills in the pharmaceutical industry.
