• Supported the concept development of a new battery pack design for electric mobility. • Conducted finite element simulations (COMSOL) to assess the thermal safety of the battery pack. Used the results to advise the team on the selection of materials.

• Performed FEM simulations (Abaqus) to predict fracture behavior of sheet metals during deep drawing for automotive applications. • Designed and manufactured novel testing equipment to validate fracture initiation models for FEM simulations.

• Designed a high voltage battery to integrate an innovative hybrid drivetrain in a 12 ton truck. • Worked out the mechanical structures of battery modules, battery casing and chassis mounting in accordance with fire and crash safety standards.
