In this role, I was responsible for the further development, support, and optimization of global reprocessing and refurbishing processes. This included analyzing existing workflows, creating technical documentation and work instructions, initiating process improvements, and working closely with international production sites in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. I supported Root Cause Analyses (RCA), initiated process adjustments, coordinated technical clarifications with Engineering, Quality, and IT departments, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements. This position further strengthened my skills in process design, communication, quality management, and cross-functional collaboration.

In this role, I focused on the validation and qualification of production-related software tools and test systems within a regulated medical device environment. My responsibilities included executing IQ/OQ/PQ activities, documenting validation deliverables, analysing system and log data, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. I collaborated closely with Engineering, IT, Quality and global production sites to support the introduction of new software tools, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement process improvements. This position strengthened my understanding of computer system validation, technical documentation, and quality-driven workflows.

During my two-year assistant program, I supported recording, mixing and post-production sessions, handled setup and technical preparation, performed independent music and speech recordings, and maintained studio equipment. I worked on internal audio-technology projects, supported broadcast productions, and managed customer communication and project planning.

During my sabbatical, I cycled from Switzerland through several European countries to the African continent and continued along the West Coast all the way to South Africa. This intentionally chosen journey served as a personal development project that significantly strengthened my self-organization, mental resilience, and solution-oriented mindset. Along the way, I learned to assess complex situations quickly, make pragmatic decisions, and approach challenges with creativity, composure, and discipline. The experience greatly enhanced my resilience and broadened my perspective on different cultures and ways of life.
