internship
During my internship at Esaote, a leading producer of medical ultrasound devices, I had the privilege of collaborating with both the mechanical and electrical teams. My primary responsibility was to initiate research and development for their upcoming project, a cutting-edge portable computer. I played a pivotal role in the development of the mainboard and conducted extensive research on innovative cooling solutions and materials for the computer's casing. I also utilized PTC Creo to create the mechanical model of the computer and employed Floefd to run simulations on three different solutions that I proposed. This combination of software tools allowed me to thoroughly analyze and optimize the proposed designs, contributing to the successful development of the portable computer project. It has been a wonderful experience and working with the R&D team was great.

parttime
In parallel to my studies at ETH, I won a scholarship from the Department of Sciences for Health - DISSAL at the University of Genoa. I had the privilege of working on the project "Image Analysis of Multiple Myeloma." This project involved close collaboration with PhD mathematicians and medical professionals. My primary role in the project was to construct the code that would be utilized by the research doctors for the analysis of medical images and data processing. I took on the responsibility of not only developing the code but also assessing the construction of the interface. The code I designed had the crucial function of generating and processing images based on the algorithmic choices made by PhD mathematicians. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the world of research scientists and allowed me to contribute to the advancement of medical image analysis in the context of Multiple Myeloma research.
