In the field of bio-sensing, we use photonic devices in order to sense and track the smallest biological events. Optomagnetic biosensing will enhance the system by setting up a local oscillator in order to switch on and off an external magnetic field for coherent detection. During this research, I improved the sensitivity by 8 times while I introduced an optimization path for finding the best configuration for integrating the magnetic coils and the optical transducer into one single chip.
