Support the Cardio4Cities Coalition in achieving its goals of combating cardiovascular disease in Low and Middle Income Countries by providing guidance and implementation support for the following activities: 1. Identify and approach potential future members of the coalition 2. Identify cities that will be joining the coalition (selection and eligibility criteria) 3. Develop tailored CVD prevention and control programs for each city: • Assess CVD burden in each LMIC city represented in the coalition • Identify gaps in existing CVD prevention and control programs in each city • Develop tailored CVD prevention and control programs based on assessed and identified gaps 4. Identify appropriate innovative finance instrument: • Conduct a review of existing innovative finance mechanisms for CVD prevention and control programs in LMICs. • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the existing financing mechanisms. • Identify impact investors that would be the ideal partners in the venture • Develop an innovative and sustainable financing mechanism for the Cardio4Cities Coalition that leverages catalytic funding from donors and the private sector. 5. Identifying investors and funders 6. Stakeholder engagement and communication: • Develop a stakeholder engagement plan for the Cardio4Cities Coalition that includes regular communication with stakeholders. • Conduct stakeholder meetings and consultations to ensure that CVD prevention and control programs are tailored to the specific needs of each city. • Develop communication materials and messages to promote the activities of the Cardio4Cities Coalition.
