My name is Marta Yábar and I have studied Biotechnology at the University of Rovira I Virgili (Tarragona, Spain). Currently studying Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology master degree programme at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Austria. Actively seeking an internship opportunity to get experience in the development, testing and large-scale manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and do research for my Master’s tesis. During these years, I have instilled in me values such as discipline, overcoming and teamwork, which will be decisive to take the most of my professional career. I am enthusiastic to learn, with a strong motivation to succeed in scientific research.

I did research for my Bachelor’s thesis: Radiolabeling with the radiometals technetium-99m and gallium-67 of proteins and protein nanosystems for in vivo biodistribution studies by SPECT / CT molecular imaging - GMP laboratory work. - Training in operational radiological protection procedures and manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals. - Support in techniques of radiolabelling of proteins, protein nanosystems and blood cells. Carrying out cold tests. - Purification by semi-preparative radioHPLC and quality control by chromatographic techniques (radioTLC) and biological tests. - Support in carrying out translational molecular imaging studies in animal models using microPET and microSPECT-CT.
