Welcome on my profile! My name is Maxvell, I'm a software engineer passionate about camera-based algorithms development. Innovation drives me. I have spent my last 10 years developing challenging computer vision algorithms. Since 2014, I have been working on an array of tracking cameras for robotic surgery. The system is capable of tracking objects and communicating with robots fully autonomously with all the computation embedded on-FPGA boards. In the early stage of the project, I actively worked on the first prototypes using development kits and contributed to its development into a medical grade product ready to go on the market. Overall, I have been coordinating various stakeholders; business partners for fundings, physics researchers for the camera calibration, electronic engineers for platform optimizations and mechanical designers concerning manufacturing constraints. In older projects, I created an automated face detection on a low-powered DSP board and built an Augmented Reality SDK for iOS and Android. Having always worked at the heart of innovation, I would love to keep on exploring new ideas and investigate unsolved problems in small companies.
