Expert on matters of sustainability with a broad technical know-how.
A long-standing academic background in engineering and science with a focus on sustainability has made my head spin: The state-of-the-art methodology in terms of modelling environmental impacts and their connection to industry is far beyond what seems to be utilized in industry. It seems to me that the combination of programming, data-analysis, and especially the immense growth in the AI field enable us to finally tackle some of the most pressing matters in today's society. And yet, I am not sure where to specialize - I hope we can figure that out together?
I am an outgoing guy who's quick with a joke and I have a passion for people - I am also passionate to make a difference and fully aware that this is done through people. Through my teenage years I wanted to become an actor and performer, today I use the soft-skills learned back then every day: Translating complex scientific knowledge to practical know-how to difference audiences is one my core skills. Compounding the technical skills from my time as an environmental engineer and PhD in Industrial Ecology, I wish to guide the industry on both small- and large-scale decisions towards a future worth living in. Or make tools to do so. My perspective on sustainability is complex as I have spent 7 years fully focused on the subject - now I wish to find the optimal contact point between what makes sense in the industry, and what science and our conscience compels us to do.
