I am a developer with 18+ year of experience with particular focus on embedded systems and networking. My first paid work was already doing high school (a shareware program) more than two decades ago.
I have a strong experience working in startups as I collaborated with two in the last six years, one of which I'm co-founder. In my first experience we focused on film cameras for professional use (we were the first developers of Kodak's super8 camera), and the second is focused on embedded electronics specialising in professionally made model railways.
I am a versatile developer with an eye for thinking out of the box and finding the appropriate solution to novel problems. I have experience with a variety of systems, including developing kernel drivers for linux, STM32 and other ARM platforms with and without linux, AVR and PIC microcontrollers used in conjunction with ARM devices. I have a good knowledge of electronics and I don't mind getting my hands dirty with a soldering iron when needed. I'm not scared to debug my embedded code with an oscilloscope.
I managed a very different array of projects to completion, in very different fields, from directing research on seventeenth century music, to creating a commercial electronics product through all the steps of development, certification, and production.
I'm looking for new challenges where I can highlight my skills preferably working in a positive and challenging team, where I can share my experience and learn at the same time. I am not scared to pick up new skills for any particular job.
I also have a master's in musicology and I have a quantity of peer-reviewed published research on that field.
