About
I am a PostDoctoral Researcher at the ETH AI Center. My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, wearable sensing, and health. I am part of the “Biomedical Informatics” group led by Prof. Gunnar Rätsch and “Sensing, Interaction and Perception Lab” led by Prof. Christian Holz. I am interested in applying signal processing techniques, machine learning, and deep learning methods to automatically recognize human behavior from sensor data collected using mobile and wearable devices (e.g., smartphones, smartwatches, and sensory earbuds). In my Ph.D. thesis, I focused on the design and development of robust sensor-based human behavior recognition methods, which can detect people's behavior in real-world settings by combating the challenges faced in such settings such as noisy and missing data.
