I am a Biomedical Engineer focused on developing reliable and innovative medical technologies that make a real difference for patients and clinicians. My work sits at the intersection of mechanical design, experimental testing, and regulated documentation, and I enjoy turning complex ideas into systems that can be tested, validated, and trusted.

In recent years I have worked on a class II medical device for dental applications, contributing from early prototypes through to FDA clearance. I designed and built electromechanical test setups, worked with biological samples, prepared and ran verification and validation methods, and documented everything in a way that met strict regulatory expectations. This combination of practical lab work, system thinking, and structured documentation is where I feel most at home.

My Master thesis focused on developing a soft tissue model for indentation and compression studies that mimics the mechanical behavior of an obese abdomen. I built a dedicated mechanical testing system, ran long term experimental series, and reported the results in a form that served both engineering decisions and scientific standards. It strengthened my interest in diagnostics related testing, method development, and careful experimental design.

Earlier in my academic path, I led or contributed to research projects in stroke rehabilitation and neonatal monitoring that received recognition at national and international conferences. These projects reinforced my motivation to work on solutions that address real clinical needs, not just theoretical problems.

I thrive on solving complex engineering challenges, whether that means refining a test method, improving a device architecture, or rethinking a process. I enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and I take particular care in how results are communicated and documented.

Alongside my work in medical technology, I am the founder of Atelier Boanta, a small studio where I explore design, materials, and 3D forms in the context of modern handcrafted objects. It is a space where I combine engineering precision with creative expression.
