Currently in my last semester as a Master's student in Economics, with a specialization in Industrial Organization and Finance. I directed my studies towards the digital economy and am currently writing a thesis on strategies for two-sided platforms, with a focus on podcast providers. As Business Development Manager, I was part of the team that won the Best Junior Enterprise of Switzerland award for the first time in Junior Enterprise Fribourg's history (www.jef.ch). During that time I was lucky enough to join a local startup as a strategy advisor for 6 months, in the context of my Bachelor thesis. LINKEYS SA was later acquired by French group, Groupe Mare Nostrum. I also worked as a marketing & sales assistant for 2.5 years in an international company (EF Education First) and am currently the Innovation Club Manager, a local organization which aims at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation among students in Fribourg.

Apart from economics and innovation, I'm also passionate about philosophy and writing. Some of my blog posts (yanncosta.medium.com) have been reposted by major American publications such as Curious and Noteworthy. In my free time, I also host a monthly event named Café-Philo, where we gather to discuss philosophical issues in small groups.

I'm looking for a new opportunity after my graduation (summer 2021) so I can start a meaningful career.
