CHAI provides technical and management support to Ministries of Health and global institutions like Gavi or the United Nations in order to dramatically improve health access and outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. Led CHAI’s Vaccines Delivery program globally and oversaw its strategy, fundraising and performance. Under my leadership, the vaccine delivery program grew dramatically and delivered great health impact and value for money. Its work to introduce new vaccines alone contributed to more than 200,000 lives saved per year. Its budget grew 8x from $3M/y in 2014 to >$30M/y in 2024. Its geographic scope expanded from 4 to 18 focus countries with a birth cohort of >50M/y. Its programmatic focus also expanded into 3 new strategic technical areas. Led the global team providing strategic and technical support to the global vaccines delivery program. Improved the team's organization and culture and led development of management systems & support to meet evolving needs as the program evolved and the global team grew 7x to ~30 staff. Managed strategic partnerships and relationships with global partners and donors like Gavi, BMGF and advises international fora and working groups on vaccine delivery.
