Co-founder/CTO Wanted
Co-founder/CTO
Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset and a technical background? And are you looking for an opportunity to join an early stage startup and own a significant part of the company as a co-founder? Then Kwykli might be your chance. By building up a skills profile for all employees within an organization, we collect the data to connect the right people at the right time and to help organizations understand the collective skills of their workforce. This helps our customers to deal with the challenges of remote work and distributed teams. About the Job: To complete the team with a hands-on technical person, we're looking for a co-founder who is motivated to take on responsibility in the following areas: * Design the architecture and algorithms to fulfill our promise to help organizations build up skill profiles of their employees. * Build, deploy and operate the B2B SaaS application. * Closely collaborate with a near-shoring team to deliver roadmap features. * Closely collaborate with our Product Manager to decide on the strategy and roadmap. If you have some (not necessarily all of them) of the technical skills listed here, you might be a perfect fit: * Data Science/Machine Learning * Spring Boot and Java * React.js * SQL and/or NoSQL databases * Some experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Heroku If you're interested but not familiar with all of the above technologies, don't let that keep you from getting in touch with us. Motivation, talent and willingness to take on responsibility are the most important aspects. About the Business Idea: Remote work and distributed teams are disrupting the traditional workplace. This trend has begun years before the pandemic and will continue long after. Combined with a new generation of people streaming into the workplace, we are about to witness fundamental changes in how we work and with whom we work. And this new reality will require new tools and ways to interact and collaborate with each other. Nowadays, employees often hardly know what coworkers outside their immediate team are working on and what skills they have. And who can blame them? With companies being distributed across multiple locations and random coffee table encounters vanishing, employees hardly get in touch with others outside their project team. As a consequence, employees often don't know who is an expert on a certain topic and could efficiently help them in case of questions. This leads to inefficiencies and knowledge silos that affect the performance of entire companies. By not having a complete overview of their employee's skills and interests, companies miss out on a lot of potential. This is the first problem we'd like to tackle. Through a B2B SaaS application which builds up a skills profile for all employees, we collect the data to connect the right people at the right time and to help organizations understand the collective skills of their workforce. This will enable organizations from a few hundred to several thousands of employees to break up knowledge silos, increase productivity and tap the full potential of their workforce. Rooted in the technology sector, we use concepts from Computer Science and machine learning to achieve these goals. If you're interested in such an endeavor, let's meet. No strings attached. I'm happy to explain our vision and its current state of execution. First coffee or beer is on me ;-). About me: I have a background in Computer Science (ETH) and have worked as a Software Engineer, Engineering Manager and Product Manager during the past 8 years. I'm passionate about building things (products, teams, organizations) and I enjoy working together with motivated people that don't just see the things the way they are, but also what they could be.
