Internship, (Startup) Business Development & Marketing
As a Business Development & Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for answering inbound user requests across multiple channels, and liaise with Product, User, and other team members to find solutions, or pass along feedback. Your duties will also include monitoring feedback trends and reporting to the team in order to proactively identify and address any potential pain points or new feature ideas. You will also assist in the newsletter and other content creation, and other tasks with the marketing team. Ultimately, you will gain experience in all areas involved in growing a strong user base, and gain knowledge in many startup business operations. Where: in our Zürich office, in addition to some remote days as a possibility. When: start date is not as important as the finding the "right" candidate. We can agree on a date that works for you How long: we ask for a minimum of a 3 month duration, with a preference for candidates available for 6 months. The position is able to continue part-time as a working student, or other full time positions can be discussed after 6 months. Why: we work fast and flexible, and get stuff done. Responsibilities Assist the User team in responding to customer inquiries and support other teams when it comes to creating Liiva fans Add your creative inputs into our Marketing activities, including newsletter generation Develop and implement your own initiatives! You have ideas, and we create the environment to let them loose Synthesise user feedback and relay to User and/or Product team members Report to our Chief Business Officer (CBO), and have regular 1:1s to receive feedback on your strengths and career objectives Requirements Must have's University courses focused on Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or other related fields Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Drive to participate fully in an early stage company, and the ability to work with many different teams to meet user needs Customer-centric is a must! Swiss German fluency (primary user language) and English (company language) are must-haves Swiss, EU, or other passport holder that has current permission to work in Switzerland Nice-to-have's Some experience with CRM systems is useful Experience in startups, PropTech, or other related fields Fluency in French or Italian Please apply with a CV in English or German. The position is set up to handle a 100% workload, but as we are building up many positions in the team, there is the flexibility to adjust the workload to 80-90%.
