Our diverse team is looking for a Sensor Fusion Engineer to help us on our mission to develop robust and highly accurate navigation solutions for robots and autonomous vehicles. More information can be found on our website: www.fixposition.com About the role Your role will be at the core of Fixposition’s product development. You will contribute to our current and the next generation of our sensor fusion pipeline and work very closely with all the other parts of our R&D team. - Research, develop and implement new algorithms for our innovative real-time sensor fusion pipeline using RTK GNSS, IMU, camera, and other sensor data. - Optimize algorithms and run them on embedded Linux (in cooperation with software engineers). - Evaluate the performance of our product on autonomous ground vehicles and drones. About you - MSc or PhD in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in a related field. - Proven experience solving sensor fusion or state estimation problems. - Excellent knowledge on visual-inertial SLAM methods using optimization or filter based approaches. - Strong programming skills in C++ and other languages such as Python. - Excellent oral & written communication skills in English. - Strong drive to bring in your experience to push our product. - Excellent problem-solving skills.
