About you We are seeking a self-motivated Sustainable Real Estate Consultant to help generate investment and decarbonization strategies for our customers’ portfolios. Note that this is not just a consulting role, as it fits between Sales, Technical Customer Success, Product Delivery, and developing new solutions to provide value to our product and clients. You’ll play a pivotal role in assuring that our clients’ use our product to the full potential, developing our company’s product/go-to-market strategy towards success, and acting as an expert for the intimate details of real estate investment and renovation plans. Optiml is fast-growing AI startup with a mission to revolutionize investment decisions towards sustainability. We spun out of ETH Zurich in fall 2022 and raised money from top-notch US & EU funds: Innovation Endeavors (San Francisco – fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt) and Planet A (Berlin). In short: although we’re only a year and a half old, and we’re at the stage where we need more entrepreneurial and talented people to join our team as we expand our product’s footprint. Tasks Responsibilities Lead client interaction and use of Optiml platform end to end, from (technical) sales meetings, onboarding, to customer success and product delivery Lead deliveries of large real estate portfolio analyses as the main internal user of the Optiml platform Ensure customer satisfaction and retention Drive continuous improvement in the customer experience through the platform in collaboration with the product, UX research, and design teams Establish clear process milestones for customers to onboard Optiml Build case studies and stories of customer use cases Support the sales, marketing, and product teams in gathering feedback to support product strategy Work in cross-functional teams to refine and advance the product Support in contextual data gathering and assessments Improve the data flows within the Optiml platform from onboarding to export Who we are looking for Highly Self-Motivated: You are able to quickly and efficiently execute tasks, demonstrating strong initiative and self-drive. Imagine new approaches to mine and fuse publicly available data. Inform the direction of the product and data partnerships. Come up with innovative solutions to solve our customers' problems. Own the whole development lifecycle: specs to production implementation. Collaborate with peers on architecture, design and code reviews. We’re just getting started and have some big plans over the coming years… Tasks 1) Develop our B2B SaaS product towards production-ready, Enterprise-grade level software in a regulated environment (Real estate asset managers & Financial institutions), satisfying the high trust requirements of our clients in DACH, UK and beyond Identify functional & non-functional requirements of “Enterprise-grade software” in our industry (anything from multi-role service offerings & journeys, single sign-on, increased customization, exporting reports & data via APIs) with the CEO and existing Product-team (focused on building engineering) Support scalable technical architecture design and performance requirements (e.g. infrastructure platform & reliability engineering, regulatory compliance, security certifications, IAM, …) together with CTO and Tech-team Actively shape the strategic platform direction for the next years (e.g. integration with other IT systems, monetization of features, platform growth, etc.) together with CCO and Business-Team 2) Ensure top-notch usability of platform together with UX and Design Teams Introduce product performance analytics and usage metrics into the platform Setup structured process to systematically generate product inputs across channels: Product vision, market trends, user feedback, product usage metrics, etc. Prioritize enterprise features and collaborate with Product and Tech teams to define one streamlined product roadmap and inform short- to mid-term implementation planning considering client deliveries 3) Build a scalable product organization and ways of working Establish key processes from design, development, testing, quality assurance, etc. of product platform and solutions/ feature requirements Set up cross-functional teams (“squads”), e.g. for country rollout, feature development vs. maintenance, etc. Manage, develop and strategically hire people for Product team as we grow 4) Lead cross-team project execution of complex platform functionality, owning the whole development lifecycle from specs to implementation Who we are looking for?
