ROVENSO makes ROVéo an agile & autonompus robot for security and safety monitoring of indiustrial sites ROVENSO is an EPFL startup, developing agile robots for security and safety monitoring of industrial sites. We are a team of 12 people and we are looking for folks that are curious, not afraid of making mistakes, autonomous and collaborative, able to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment Every day, you will have the opportunity to innovate, experiment, share your ideas and contribute to solving the most challenging real-world robotics problems.

Your role: • Contribute to the improvement and extension of the current software stack • Design custom algorithms for SLAM, navigation and anomaly detection • Perform on-robot testing and benchmarking of the implemented solutions • Debug, maintain, and document Your required skills: • 2+ years of experience implementing SLAM and navigation algorithms on a product, or PhD in a strictly related field • Strong practical experience of sensor fusion (Lidar, IMU, 3D camera) • Proficiency in C++ and dedication to clean, tested code • Familiarity with hardware selection and testing • Excellent teamwork/communication skills
