Become the driving force behind the smooth operation of the Swiss MedTech Hub (SMH) with us! What You’ll Do: As our Operations Manager, you'll be at the forefront, ensuring every aspect of the SMH runs like clockwork. Your key responsibilities will include: • Operational Leadership: Oversee all operational aspects of the SMH, from space management to hospitality services. • Quality Management: Uphold the highest standards in the SMH, continuously improving and optimizing our operating concepts. • Facility Oversight: Manage rental agreements, calculate rents and ancillary costs, and ensure optimal utilization of meeting rooms. • Event Coordination: Organize and execute events, maintaining seamless communication and coordination. • Maintenance Mastery: Oversee maintenance, repairs, and cleaning, ensuring our facilities are always in top condition. • Interface Management: Act as the liaison with landlords, maintenance teams, and cleaning services, managing contracts and ensuring smooth operations. • Communications Champion: Lead SMH communication efforts, integrating them into our overarching SSC strategy. • Financial Analysis: Examine financial data to identify opportunities for improving profitability. • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure financial health and stability. What You Bring: We’re looking for someone with a blend of skills and experience, including: • Educational Background: Professional training or equivalent education in a relevant field. • Facility Management Expertise: Preferably trained in facility management or related fields like hospitality. • Business Acumen: Further training in business administration and project management is a plus. • Linguistic Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken German and English skills. • Tech Savvy: Proficient in ICT Office applications, job-specific software like CRM, and basic ICT network knowledge. • Hands-On Skills: Practical, manual skills to tackle on-the-ground challenges.
